Noblemen Life Realms Course
When God created mankind, He entrusted them with various realms to “rule over” (Genesis 1:28). Like Adam, God has placed many realms in our care. Each of us seeks to navigate the deep complexity of bringing stability and order to the areas for which we are responsible. In this unpredictable and chaotic world, we often gravitate toward the realms in which we excel. Understandably, we frequently neglect the ones that reveal our fears, weaknesses, and ineptitude.
Paul calls us to rise above this complacency when he shares the following.
“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”
- 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
Men, your life is too short, and the impact that you can have for God’s Kingdom is too great to limit yourself to the areas that come naturally to you. I encourage you to dive in with all of your heart. Join God as He fortifies not only the areas where you’re strong, but also watch God become your strength and wisdom in the areas where you’re weak. All those around you and under your care will benefit from your efforts to take responsibility for the realms God has entrusted to you.
